Nat to be inducted into the SAL Hall of Fame
Congratulations from everyone at Eastern Raiders Nat!
This Softball Australia acknowledgement of your great international career is well deserved.
“Natalie represented the Australian Open Women’s Softball team, the Aussie Spirit, from 1994-2008 playing 334 games for her Australia. She is ranked 3rd all time for Australian appearances in the women’s program. Natalie competed in three Olympic Games (2000, 2004, 2008) and two World Championships (1998, 2006) and was a travelling reserve for the 1996 Olympic Team. She retired from international competition in 2008.”
Since retiring from international competition Nat has played in Raiders A grade team, coached our A reserve team to consecutive premierships, represented Victoria in Titans, coached the State U19 womens team and volunteered her time in countless ways to give back to the softball community at club, association and state level. You’re a legend Nat, we congratulate you!
We all look forward to seeing Nat back on the diamond one day soon, entertaining us with her brilliance and her one liners.
Some of Nat’s great work below including her last Olympics – Beijing.
